Game on!
Peddie is transforming its outdoor athletic facilities through the Game On Stadium Renovation Project, an initiative that will expand opportunities for student-athletes and elevate the school’s athletics program for decades to come.
At the heart of the project is a new synthetic turf field that will support multiple sports, including football, soccer, field hockey and lacrosse, across all seasons. Right now, Peddie has only one turf field, forcing teams to compete for space and leaving schedules vulnerable to inclement weather. The new field will alleviate those pressures while creating a more equitable playing environment for both boys’ and girls’ teams.
Additional upgrades include improved track and field surfaces and stadium lighting, which will enable evening games. Together, these enhancements are expected to more than double the school’s practice and playtime capacity.
The renovation will also reimagine the stadium experience from the ground up. New walkways, gathering areas, a tennis-viewing terrace and a team plaza will create a vibrant hub where students, families, alumni and fans can come together to celebrate Peddie athletics.
The project is estimated to cost $7.1 million. Efforts are currently focused on securing the necessary permits, with construction timing to be finalized.
The result will be a modern, flexible athletic facility built to serve Peddie students well into the future.
