Fall 2025

Jeff Mulé ’79
Diving
A three-time state champion and two-time Eastern Interscholastic champ, Jeff Mulé ’79 set Peddie records and earned Prep School All-American honors. He placed in the top six at the National Junior Olympics and U.S. Nationals, and trained with an Olympic coach during the summers, mastering elite dives. At Harvard, he won an Eastern Championship. “Because I had done the work,” Mulé said, “it made it easier to relax when the pressure was on.”

1999–2000 Boys & Girls Outdoor Track & Field Teams
Both teams won the MAPL Championship, with the girls also capturing back-to-back Prep State titles. Together, they broke 10 school records, and the boys’ 4×400 relay team (Russell Gagnon ’00, Tom Conner ’00, Derek Tong ’01 and Chris Nixon ’00) won the Prep Penn Relays, a feat still unmatched at Peddie. Former coach Mark Gartner praised the team’s depth: “We had contributions up and down the roster, sometimes from the most unexpected sources.”

Benjamin Bailey ’00
Lacrosse
A postgraduate standout, Benjamin Bailey ’00 scored 29 goals and 26 assists in just 11 games. He led the Falcons to MAPL and Prep A championships, and went on to help the U.S. Naval Academy reach the 2004 NCAA Championship game. “He was awesome. Hardworking, humble and knew exactly what he wanted to accomplish,” said teammate Rich D’Andrea ’01.

Joe Bossi ’00
Lacrosse
In one extraordinary season, Joe Bossi ’00 scored 43 goals and 23 assists, powering Peddie to MAPL and Prep A titles. He and teammate Benjamin Bailey ’00 scored all eight goals in an 8-5 win over rival Lawrenceville. Bossi went on to star at the U.S. Naval Academy with Bailey ’00, earning All-American honors and helping Navy reach the National Championship.

Haley Peters ’10
Basketball
A four-year starter, Haley Peters ’10 led Peddie to 88 wins, a 14th straight Prep A crown and a 12th Mid-Atlantic Prep League title. She ranks second all-time in scoring (1,551 points) and rebounds (1,116). The class valedictorian, Peters was also a McDonald’s All-American, NJ Gatorade Player of the Year and Parade Second Team All-American. At Duke, she helped capture multiple ACC titles and Elite Eights. In her professional career, she won the 2025 EuroCup overseas and played for the Connecticut Sun in the 2025 season.

Connor Signorin ’10
Swimming
Connor Signorin ’10 still holds five Peddie records in freestyle and IM events and was a three-time winner of the Clinton I. Sprout Cup for outstanding ability, loyalty and sportsmanship. A NISCA and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American, he competed in the 2008 Olympic Team Trials and swam internationally for the USA Youth Team. At Easterns, he won multiple titles and was named Most Outstanding Swimmer. Signorin later captained the University of Florida swim team.

2009–2010 Field Hockey Team
The Falcons captured the MAPL title and became the first Peddie field hockey team to win back-to-back Prep A state championships. Taylor Pennell ’12 scored the game-winner in the 1-0 final over top-seeded Lawrenceville, and goalkeeper Carolyn Horner ’10 notched the shutout. Co-captains Horner and Madeline Rich ’11 anchored the defense, along with Nora Wilby ’10 and Gabby Horner ’10. Jill Skipper ’11, Kelly Donald ’11, Becca Hetrick ’13, MaryRose Croddick Molyneaux ’11 and Kerrie Kortmann ’12 were key contributors. “They played without fear,” said Assistant Coach Sarah Somers.
